Tornados are devastating to all that is in their path.  People cannot control them.  Their power shatters all that is in their way.

For people who have experienced such powerful forces – what do they do?  Some will ‘get to work’ to rebuild, others will wait on someone else to do it for them, while others will go to help in any way they can.

In the wake of devastation…how do you react or respond?

Where does anyone turn when the storms of life shatter relationships leaving devastation and splintered homes?

The psalmist gave the following…perhaps it will give you hope in the living God for the storms in your life.

(NIV) Psalm 25:16-21 “Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
17The troubles of my heart have multiplied;
free me from my anguish.
18Look upon my affliction and my distress
and take away all my sins.
19See how my enemies have increased
and how fiercely they hate me!
20Guard my life and rescue me;
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.
21May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope is in you.”

May those who have been devastated by the storms of life

put their hope in the God of the Holy Bible.
