Have you earned God’s grace and His peace?  If you haven’t “earned it”, then who can?

No works, no education, no power, no money…no one or nothing can earn God’s grace or His peace.

Yet the followers of Christ have been given God’s grace and peace.  How can this be?  It is faith in Christ Jesus from first to last.

(NASB) Galatians 1:3-5 “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
4 who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
5 to whom be the glory forevermore.  Amen.”

Before Jesus suffered and was crucified, He repeatedly told His disciples what would happen to Him in Jerusalem.

Jesus set His face toward Jerusalem, steadfastly committed to doing His Father’s will.

Since no one can take the credit or the glory for our peace with God and for our own salvation – to whom is the credit and glory due?

God our Father and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, deserves our worship.  It is God alone Who will receive the glory forevermore.   Amen (So be it).
