(NASB) 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 “Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

The followers of Christ have been given the ministry of reconciliation.
Why, because God has reconciled (your name) to Himself through Christ Jesus.
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself; He does not count their trespasses against them.

Does this mean that everyone is reconciled to God?  Does this mean that everyone’s trespasses are not counted against them?
What does God’s word say?

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 5:20 “…we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

It is on behalf of Christ and what He has done that you can be reconciled to God.
(NASB) 2 Corinthians 5:21 “He (God) made Him (Christ Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Christ).”

God has committed to the followers of Christ (those who believe that He is the Son of God, died for their sins, and was resurrected physically) the word of reconciliation.

The followers of Christ have a responsibility

to give God’s message of reconciliation.

Some people think the kind thing to do is to give the message of love, light, joy and heaven without the accountability of receiving Christ as their Lord and Savior.
But without Christ there is no reconciliation.

The followers of Christ have a responsibility

to give God’s message of reconciliation.
