The LORD Jesus Christ was, and is, God.

Yet, He did not cling to this equality with God as something to grab hold of and clutch to Himself.

He emptied Himself by taking the role of a servant with the physical limitations of a man for a period of time.

He became fully man, born of a virgin (Mary) and conceived by the Holy Spirit.

After His birth and when He had grown into manhood, He humbled Himself even further.  He was obedient to His Father’s will (See Matthew 26:36-44) and went to His execution on a cross.

(NIV) Philippians 2:5
And “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus”!

What are you clutching to yourself that you need to let go?

Why are you rejecting the salvation which is offered?

Where do you need to submit to God and obey Him?

When will you let go of your pride and humble yourself before God?

To whom are you submitting today and to Whom do you now need to yield?

How long has it been since you prayed to God in the name of Jesus?

(NIV) Philippians 2:5-11
“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
