(NASB) Isaiah 53:10 “…If He would render Himself as a guilt offering…”

The LORD gave the instructions for what was to be a guilt offering by the one who had sinned.  In those instructions He also stated what the ritual and the priest’s duties were in presenting the guilt offering to the LORD.  (See Leviticus 5:5-10)
The guilt offering must be brought to the LORD for the sin the person had committed…then the priest would make atonement on the person’s behalf for the sin.
Your sins make you guilty and my sins make me guilty – no one else is guilty for our sins.  We are responsible.  What offering can anyone bring to the LORD to make us right in His sight?

Sin done = guilt, true guilt…

What has the Lord Jesus Christ done for all who admit to Him they are guilty of a specific sin?  (Sin may be an action which has been committed or omitted.)
When Jesus died on the cross He took our sins as if they were His own (even though He had committed no sin).
Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for our sins.  (And God the Father accepted that sacrifice…how can this be known?  Consider the fact of Jesus’ resurrection as proof.)

When I accepted Jesus as my Savior I was accepting the fact that Jesus took my sins on Himself and He was my guilt offering to God.  (Did I understand all of this at the time of being ‘saved’?  No, but that did not negate Jesus’ action on my behalf.)
