(NASB) Isaiah 53:10 “But the LORD was pleased
To crush Him…”

Why?  What loving God, what loving Father, would treat His Son in such a cruel manner?

For what good reason would the God of the Bible do this?

The Scriptures tell us what we need to know and remember:
(NASB) Isaiah 53:5 “But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.”

What will it take for us to realize what Christ Jesus did on the cross?

There is nothing we can do, think, say, or decide that will free us from our real transgressions against God.

There is nothing that will free us from our real iniquities before God.  (See Romans 8:2) Only through Christ are we freed from sin and death.

He is the just God Who will give fairness in His judgment.  When we stand before Him (and every person will), how will He judge you and me?

Without Christ Jesus as our Savior we would be condemned and sent to eternal judgment.  (See Revelation 20:11-13)

Without Christ Jesus we would suffer the second death – the lake that burns with fire and brimstone for eternity.  (Revelation 20:14-15)

For this reason – Christ Jesus died on the cross.  He died to save all who receive Him as their Savior from God’s just judgment.  He died to save all who place their faith in Him from being “thrown into the lake of fire.”

To reject God and His Son is to receive just judgment!
