It’s Monday, the beginning of a new workweek…what shall you do with it?

How did you begin this day? With reading the news on the internet, perhaps reading the newspaper, or playing computer games, or checking the stock market or did you turn the pages of your Bible and seek God?

Who do you think God is, Who He really is and not what you have read about Him or what you think about Him. Who is this God of the Bible? What is He really like, not what you want Him to be, but Who is He?

Isaiah asked some rhetorical questions and told of God’s incomparable power:

(NASB) Isaiah 40:12-15 “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand,

And marked off the heavens by the span,

And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure,

And weighed the mountains in a balance

And the hills in a pair of scales?

13 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD,

Or as His counselor has informed Him?

14 With whom did He consult and who gave Him understanding?

And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge

And informed Him of the way of understanding?

15 Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket,

And are regarded as a speck of dust on the scales…”

How great is this God of the Bible? Do you know Him, really know Him?

You can start by asking Him to reveal Himself to you, to show you His unchanging, incomparable character and His purpose for you.

Tomorrow morning, how will you start your day?

(NASB) Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 ‘For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
