What do you believe about the message of the LORD Jesus Christ?  His ministry proclaimed His message as He went to the cross, died and was buried and then resurrected from the grave of death.  That message is ‘salvation’.

Hundreds of years before the above events in Jerusalem, Isaiah asked some serious and thought-provoking questions:

(NASB) Isaiah 53:1 “WHO HAS believed our message?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”

That prophecy was fulfilled during the ministry of the LORD Jesus when He came as fully Man, born in Bethlehem and grew up in Nazareth.

(NASB) John 12:37-38 “But though He had performed so many signs before them, yet they were not believing in Him.
38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke: ‘LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?  AND TO WHOM HAS THE ARM OF THE LORD BEEN REVEALED?’ ”

Are you one of those who have believed the report of the prophet Isaiah?  If your answer is ‘yes’, then He has revealed His power to you through forgiveness of your sins.  The LORD’S message is one of hope.

No matter your circumstances…whether dire or discouraging or depressing…there is hope for you.  And that hope is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Like the Psalmist, do you sing with amazement and awe?

(NASB) Psalm 98:1-3 “O SING to the LORD a new song,
For He has done wonderful things,
His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.
2 The LORD has made known His salvation;
He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.”
