What do we followers of Christ have from which we can draw strength for every day, throughout our day?
(NIV) Isaiah 12:3 “With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

God provides wells of salvation.  Notice it is not ‘well’ but ‘wells’.  Wells of salvation which are a never ending source of renewal.  God’s wells will never go dry!

Jesus talked with a woman at a well in Samaria.  It was probably hot from the unrelenting sun.  Water was at hand, but it was in the well and needed to be drawn to the top.  Jesus used that water and the need for water as an illustration to the woman of her need, her real need.

(NASB) John 4:10-14 “Jesus answered and said to her, ‘If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.’
11 She said to Him, ‘Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep; where then do You get that living water?
12 ‘You are not greater than our father Jacob, are you, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?’
13 Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again;
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.’”

Are you one of the ‘whoever drinks of the water’ Jesus gives?

Come, drink from the wells of salvation!
