How do you respond to the pressures of the moments in your day?

Do you respond with a ‘fake’ attitude which others might see as godly?
Do you respond to the pressures appropriately, but without an inner conviction coming from your love for God?
How do you exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, honoring God at all times – even in the middle of the crisis of the moment?
(NASB) Galatians 5:22-24 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

Reading the above verses again, where do you need to change your responses to the pressures in your day?

(Amplified) Galatians 5:24 “And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.”

Putting Christ Jesus as top priority in your life will cause you to want to get rid of all the sin and negatives that displease God.  You are to crucify (get rid of as though dead) those things that are vying for the top priority in your life.

Read again the above verses of Galatians 5:22-24; the fruit of the Spirit is a breath of fresh air, a calm pool into which we can plunge, a renewal of being right with our God.

How will you respond to the pressures in your day…through choosing the fruit of the Spirit?
