Jesus was sitting on the edge of a well in Samaria.  His disciples had gone into town to buy something for lunch.  A woman came, a woman with a past of adultery.  And Jesus had a conversation with her in that noon sun and heat.

(NASB) John 4:13-14 “Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again;
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.’”

When you accept(ed) Jesus as your Savior – you are given His Holy Spirit…He lives within all followers of Christ.

Think about that!  God Himself is living in you.  This is a mystery to me, but not to God.

I wonder…does my life show this incredible fact:  that I have the “well of water springing up to eternal life.”
How does my life give evidence of being filled with God the Holy Spirit?  What kind of tool or measuring stick can I use to check if I am stagnant and filled with gunk?  Or am I filled with that moving, flowing, vibrant and sparkling steam of life from God?

What of your life?  Is it stagnant or a sparkling stream of life?

In the coming weeks, this devotional will be exploring this very idea from the following Scriptures:

Romans 12; Galatians 5:16-26; 1 Corinthians 13

Perhaps you will start checking these Scriptures out today.
