What does the Holy Bible say about the beginning of sin?  Who is included in the term, “sinners”?

(NASB) Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

The measuring stick is not my own evaluation or the evaluation of others; it is in comparison to God Himself!
Do you think anyone can “measure up” to such a holy and high standard as God Himself?
We have a “sin” problem!  What can anyone do to overcome such a problem?  How does anyone find a solution?  The solution is found in Jesus Christ alone, there is no other answer which God has provided.

(NASB) Hebrews 10:22 “let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”

What does this verse tell us to do?
1- Draw near to God with a sincere heart – a heart that is without hypocrisy, with honesty
2- Draw near to God with full assurance of faith (in the Lord Jesus Christ – with absolute trust and confidence in God’s power, God’s wisdom, God’s goodness)
3- Draw near to God having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, a guilty conscience – this is indeed true freedom.
4- Draw near to God with our bodies washed with the pure water of God’s word.

All have sinned, all have fallen short of God’s glory…we are all included in the term “sinner”.  This is why we need the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior.
