(NASB) Psalm 119:89 “Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven.”

  God’s word is unequivocal, it is a done deal.  How can I not trust God to be truthful?
  He sent His Son, as prophesied!  God has fulfilled all the prophecies of Christ’s first advent…the first time Jesus came as a man
  As you read the Old Testament, look for the prophecies of Christ…all have been fulfilled from His conception – to His ascension into heaven.

  Christ is coming again to take all who know Him as their Savior and He will take them into heaven.  (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

  The New International Version of the Holy Bible states God’s truth this way:
(NIV) Psalm 119:89 “Your word, O Lord, is eternal;
                                  it stands firm in the heavens.”

  Jesus said in Matthew 24:35 about His coming for His own:
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”

In the uncertainty of world events,
we can be certain of God’s word being true.

  Jesus said:
(NIV) Matthew 24:42-44 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.  43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.  44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

In the certainty of God’s word,
our hope is sure because God’s words are true.
