Jesus gave last instructions before ascending into heaven among which was the following…
(NASB) Luke 24:49 “but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.

  Only after Jesus ascended into heaven would the Holy Spirit be sent to live in followers of Christ.
  Do you live knowing you are “clothed with power from on high” – by the living God? Followers of Christ have been given God the Holy Spirit. We can live with confidence and assurance of the power of God within – amazing – absolutely amazing!

  When we pray we can proclaim with confident assurance:

(NIV) Psalm 77:14 “You are the God who performs miracles;
You display your power among the peoples.”

(NIV) Psalm 147:5 “Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
His understanding has no limit.”
