(NIV) John 20:19-20

“On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.”

Followers of Christ are to base their hope on God’s words (the Holy Bible).
As followers of Christ we can experience God’s words through our situations. And then in turn the words of God can change us in our circumstances (whatever those circumstances may be).

Our hope is based on…the very words of Jesus Christ before His arrest, trials and death:
(NASB) Matthew 26:42 “He…prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

Despite your circumstances – will you base your faith in God as Jesus did in the garden?
Accepting God’s will in the middle of terrible, earth-shattering circumstances will enable you to endure those circumstances…for your hope is on God, the living God who understands you and your need!

(NIV) Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Despite your circumstances – will you choose prayer and experience the Indescribable Peace of God?

Hope, real hope is always based on what the Lord Jesus Christ has done and will do for you, today. You will find His words in the Holy Bible…they are true, reliable and filled with real hope.
