(NIV) John 20:19-20

  “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.”

  As followers of Christ we can experience the peace which surpasses all understanding, no matter what our circumstances are, no matter what people say or do to us.

Our hope is based on…Truth

  Our hope is based on what Jesus said about Himself:
(NASB) John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

  The incredible truth of the living Lord Jesus Christ was experienced by His disciples on that first day of the week, the day He was resurrected from the dead.

  The incredible truth upon which our faith is based is on Jesus, the LIVING Savior. No other religion can say that of their gods.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Way, He is the Truth and He is the Life.
