(NASB) Matthew 27:50-51 “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.”

This week the devotional has considered the curtain in the temple, torn in two at the death of Jesus:

Monday The Curtain”™s Pattern & Purpose

Tuesday The Strength of the Curtain

Wednesday The Significance of the Curtain

Thursday The Curtain=the Body of Christ

God”™s word always is significant. Beginning with “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” and ending with “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God”™s people. Amen.”

God”™s word shows the significance of the curtain in the wilderness tabernacle (Exodus) and in the Jerusalem temple. God”™s word equates the body of Jesus Christ to that curtain. Amazing word of God.

We cannot overstate The Importance of the Curtain for Believers in Christ for it represents His body torn in two through His death, and opens the curtain into the very presence of God. How important it is to know that the only way into God”™s presence is through His Son.

Think on these things”¦
