Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem ~ fulfilling prophecy.

(NIV) Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

Jesus had been raised in Nazareth ~ fulfilling prophecy.

(NIV) Matthew 2:23 (Joseph and Mary coming from Egypt with the child Jesus) “went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: “˜He will be called a Nazarene.”™”

Jesus”™ ministry ~ fulfilled prophecy.

(NIV) Isaiah 61:1-2 “THE SPIRIT of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

2to proclaim the year of the LORD’S favor and the day of vengeance of our God”¦”

Jesus”™ death ~ fulfilled prophecy.

(NIV) Isaiah 53:12 “Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.

For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

Jesus”™ birth, life, ministry and death was for you ~ this is why He humbled Himself as God the Son to become the sacrificial Lamb of God ~ for you!

Jesus came to give you the opportunity to receive entrance into the presence of God in heaven by faith…If I do not receive this costly, sacrificial gift through belief in Jesus Christ ““ then I will be separated from God”™s presence in eternity.

(NIV) John 3:18 “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God”™s one and only Son.”

(NIV) Ephesians 2:11-13 “Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “˜uncircumcised”™ by those who call themselves “˜the circumcision”™ (that done in the body by the hands of men) ““ 12remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.”

By faith, followers of Christ believe in Him as their Savior,

and their destination is heaven.
