The prophecies of Messiah”™s first coming in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New Testament.

Consider this prophecy in Psalm 22:6 [which is a description of Jesus on the cross]

(NASB) Psalm 22:6a “But I am a worm and not a man”¦”

What Jesus did:

Jesus, God the Son, humbled Himself ““ as the Son of Man.

(NASB) Philippians 2:6-8a “who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,

7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bondservant, and being made in the likeness of men.

8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself”¦”

Jesus, God the Son, came from heaven to become a Man. How humbling for God to become a Man. He did this for us. Why?

What Jesus did:

Jesus came to become sin in your place and mine”¦this was God the Father”™s intent and purpose from the time of the first sin in the Garden of Eden. (See Genesis 3:15)

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 5:21a “He (God) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf”¦”

Think about this:

How much do you understand about Jesus ““ God the Son ““ becoming the Son of Man? He is Immanuel (God with us)!

A lifetime isn”™t long enough to fully comprehend what Jesus has done for us; yet even children can accept His work of salvation for themselves.

Messiah Jesus fulfilled prophecy”¦for you.

What Jesus did”¦He did for you!
