Jesus was crucified between two criminals. One held Him in derision and cynical condemnation. The other, well”¦the other came to recognize Jesus as a Man without sin.

(NASB) Luke 23:40-41 “But the other answered, and rebuking him said,

“˜Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?”™

41 “˜And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”™”

This dying criminal recognized his personal sins, the wrongs he had done and that he was getting just punishment.

Wisdom recognizes personal sins.

(NASB) Luke 23:42 “And he was saying, “˜Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!”™”

Wisdom recognizes a personal need for a Savior.

(NASB) Luke 23:43 “And He said to him, “˜Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”™”

(NASB) Psalm 32:6-7

“Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You

in a time when You may be found;

Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.

7 You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble;

You surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Selah.

Wisdom seeks the LORD while He may be found”¦the 2nd criminal on the cross did; what about you?
