(NASB) Luke 23:34 “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing”¦”

Jesus interceded for His executioners to be forgiven, even while dying.

How might these same men have reacted if they had been on that cross? Would they have cried out to their “˜gods”™ to avenge them?

Jesus”™ love for His enemies was a constant, unwavering love or else He could not have expressed His godly love when He was wracked with pain during His crucifixion. The love Jesus had, and has, for all people is beyond my comprehension.

God”™s perfect love was expressed and exhibited in Jesus”™ words “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing”¦”

How do you regard those who treat you without compassion, who prod you into reacting negatively?

Jesus, the Son of God, expressed and exhibited God”™s perfect love from the cross.

(NASB) Luke 23:34 “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing”¦”

Who do you need to forgive?
