Pilate either passed off Jesus”™ “˜truth”™ because he didn”™t really care, or he may have been cynical concerning the truth of God. Whatever he meant by the statement/question, “What is truth?” he returned to the outer courtyard to talk with the Jewish leaders.

(NASB) John 18:38b “And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, “˜I find no guilt in Him.”™”

How do those without a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ “˜see”™ Jesus today? Perhaps as Pilate did ““ of no real importance and/or with little or no relevance in their lives.

In what area of your life do you see Jesus as having little importance or of being irrelevant?

Do you dismiss Jesus with an “˜attitude of irrelevance”™ in your life?

Jesus addressed what the most important commandment was to a teacher of the law earlier in His ministry:

(NIV) Mark 12:29-30 ” “˜Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”™”
