God”™s standard of unity is the Oneness which the Father and the Son have.

(NASB) John 17:22 “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;”

Jesus always chose to do exactly that which was to please His Father.

(NASB) John 8:28-29 “So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.

29 “˜And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”

What does anyone need to do to please God, the God of the Bible?

1- Believe that Jesus is Messiah, the Savior sent to “save His people from their sins.” (See Matthew 1:21)

2- Be born again ““ receiving, accepting Jesus as your personal Savior.

(NASB) John 3:3 “Jesus answered”¦”˜Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”™”

(NASB) Romans 10:9-10 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

3- Daily be a living sacrifice to God.

(NASB) Romans 12:1 “THEREFORE I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”

4- Daily be teachable from God”™s word.

(NASB) Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

5- Daily live a life worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him.

(NIV) Colossians 1:10-12 “And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.”
