The Unexpected and the Unequivocal
Jesus prayed to His Father on the night of His betrayal”¦as a High Priest. In this prayer found in John 17, He prayed:
(NASB) John 17:12 “While I was with them [disciples], I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.”
Jesus”™ physical presence protected His chosen disciples. Jesus Himself, kept them safe as He guarded them. Have you ever thought of that? Jesus guards those who believe in Him. He did it then, and He does it now, He protects all who believe in Him by the name God gave Him”¦Jesus. (See Matthew 1:21) Jesus means: “He will save His people from their sins.”
Upon what can you rely as the Unexpected happens in your life today?
Jesus”™ name is one of power, protection and safety for you. He keeps His own people in whatever is encountered in life, no matter what comes along ““ if you know Him as Savior; then, your help is from the Lord Who made heaven and earth by the words of His mouth. That”™s power!
Jesus prayed for the disciples who believed in Him as the Son of God, Messiah (the Anointed One of God).
What can you know as Unequivocal fact?
Jesus came to fulfill prophecies of God in the Bible. He did not just fulfill it but fulfilled it with excellence ““ every stroke of the pen was fulfilled while He was on earth and every dot will be fulfilled when He comes again. (See Matthew 5:18)
As you walk through this day”¦expect the unexpected”¦it is your choice to call upon the powerful name of Jesus or not.
As you walk through this day”¦rely upon the unequivocal fact of Jesus”™ power to fulfill all prophecy in the Bible”¦again, it is your choice to believe in Jesus or not.
The Unexpected does not surprise Jesus”¦
you can turn to Him and His power.
The Unequivocal words of God will be fulfilled”¦
He is safe and trustworthy.
