Jesus used this title for His Father ~ Holy Father. Holy is defined as “complete moral perfection”.

God alone is worthy to receive the acclamations of holiness.

In (NIV) Isaiah 6:3 God is acclaimed: “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

Jesus used this title for His Father as He prayed for His eleven disciples:

(NASB) John 17:11b “Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.”

The name of “˜Jesus”™ means “˜He will save His people from their sins”™. (See Matthew 1:21)

The followers of Christ are those who have been saved from their sins by the name of Jesus. There is no other name which can save anyone. It is in the power of Jesus”™ name alone, for He alone has done the sacrificial work which pleases God, to do away with sin. (He has done away with my sin ““ has He done away with yours?) The power of Jesus”™ name!

What do followers of Christ need to remember about different churches?

Unity with believers must be rooted in this: Christ Jesus is our personal Savior and our obedience to Him as our Master (Lord). The power of Jesus”™ name!

As followers of Christ we are to acknowledge and kneel before God and to know Him as the Holy Father. Jesus called His Father this title”¦God has complete moral perfection”¦He is Holy! It is a privilege which the followers of Christ can call the God of the Bible, Holy Father. The power of Jesus”™ name!

Followers of Christ have the same unity as God the Father and God the Son have with each other”¦incredible isn”™t it? Through the power of Jesus”™ name!

The name of Jesus has power for you!
