2010 has arrived”¦If you have received Jesus as your Savior into your life, you have wonderful news to share with others. Keeping your focus on the Lord Jesus will transform your thinking and your motives. Sharing the Good News takes prayer, persistence and patience as you practice the presence of God in your life. That will be one way to witness to others as they see your transformed life lived out before them.

Your life as a Christian has an origin”¦it started with Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord. You have Good News to share”¦

Jesus told His disciples on the very night that He would be arrested:

(NASB) John 16:28a “I came forth from the Father and have come into the world”¦”

Christ”™s life had an origination point as the Son of Man. When Jesus entered Mary as the Seed of woman, He took on humanity through Mary”¦this is something only God could have done.

(NASB) Luke 1:26-27 “Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth,

27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin”™s name was Mary.”

(NASB) Luke 1:30-32a “The angel said to her, “˜Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God.

31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and shall

name Him Jesus.

32 “˜He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High”¦”

(NASB) Luke 1:34-35 “Mary said to the angel, “˜How can this be, since I am a virgin?”™

35 The angel answered and said to her, “˜The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.”™”

When you received Jesus Christ as your Savior ““ He entered your very being and you became a child of God; again, only God could have done this.

(NASB) John 1:12-13 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

The Son of God became the Son of Man

so you could become a child of God!
