(NASB) John 16:13 “But when He, the Sprit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”

The Holy Spirit teaches anyone who listens. He, the Helper and Guide, has boundaries which He stays within as He teaches those who respond to God”™s words.

The Holy Spirit is the One Who told the writers of the Old Testament and the New Testament what was to come.

Have you said as one Christian woman did, “The more I learn about Jesus and the Bible, the more I realize there is so much more to learn.”

Being teachable is to be ready to receive a new understanding about God and His word. Being teachable is to be open to admonishment. Being teachable is to learn from what is pointed out.

God tells us to be teachable: (NASB) Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”

God warns us to listen and receive His instruction: (NASB) Psalm 32:9 “Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding,

Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check,

Otherwise they will not come near to you.”

God promises us an upright life as we respond to Him: (NASB) Psalm 32:11 “Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones;

And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.”

Be Teachable”¦and Rejoice in the Lord!
