Every religion has prayer as integral parts of worship. There is one difference between the prayers of other religions from the prayers said in Christ Jesus”™ name. He alone is the living God and He alone answers prayers according to His words.

(NASB) John 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

What conditions does Jesus give in order to answer your prayers?

If you abide or remain in a right relationship with the living God of the Bible through faith in Jesus Christ ““ the condition depends on you.

If God”™s words abide or remain in your thinking and actions ““ the condition depends on you.

If you and I do these two conditions”¦then our prayers will be heard and answered by the living God.

Then we can expect our prayers to be heard and answered.

Effective and powerful prayer is a privilege of the followers of Christ”¦this is the reason we need to ask with specific prayer in accordance to God”™s words and not pray a “˜blanket”™ prayer.

(NIV) James 5:16b “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

Prayer is agreeing with God ““

He promises to answer such prayer.

Prayer asked according to God”™s word

is powerful and effective.

(Amplified) John 15:7 “If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me], and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.”
