Be Actively Responsive
(Amplified) John 15:1-2 “I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. 2Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.”
What words did Jesus continue to offer comfort to His eleven disciples as they walked toward the Garden of Gethsemane?
(Amplified) John 15:3“You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].”
His disciples, His followers today, are clean and being pruned because we listen and are responsive to what He has said.

Do you base your evaluation on the authoritative words of Christ Jesus? When you read and hear His word are you responding in obedience to what He has said in the Holy Bible?
Being actively responsive to God”™s word reveals your faith.
(Amplified) James 1:22 “But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].”
