Anyone saying or even believing that they are a Christian does not guarantee their entry into heaven. Calling on God”™s name is not insurance for entering heaven. What did Jesus say anyone must do in order to enter God”™s presence?

(NASB) Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, “˜Lord, Lord,”™ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.“

What is God”™s will? You and I, anyone, must be “˜born again”™. Jesus said this in (NIV) John 3:3 “Jesus declared, “˜I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”™”

Have you received Jesus as your Savior, have you been “˜born again”™? No one is a Christian by claiming they have Christian parents or spouse or live a good life. These are not my words; these are words which Jesus used.

Jesus said, “˜Beware of false prophets.”™ (See Matthew 7:15) False teachers and false leaders who are false prophets will be surprised on that Day of Judgment when they will be judged. You and I must trust that what God says will happen and we need to discern false teachings. We need to distinguish high sounding words which are false from what God has actually said in the Holy Bible.

Jesus has warned false teachers that He will judge them because they did not have a personal relationship with Him.

(NASB) Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to Me on that day, “˜Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?”™

23 “˜And then I will declare to them, “˜I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.”™”

Jesus will judge the false prophets. In the NIV verse 23 reads “Then I will tell them plainly, “˜I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”™”

Everyone who goes into the presence of God

must enter through the Lord Jesus Christ,

and in this way doing the will of the Father.
