When your children ask you for a need in their lives ““ you do not give them worthless or harmful gifts.

Loving wisdom, however, does not encourage or give support to wrong choices or harmful decisions.

Jesus brought His listeners into His teaching about how God answers their prayers.

(NASB) Matthew 7:9-10 “Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?

10 “˜Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he?

Jesus pointed out the kind of gifts we give our children when they ask for a need in their lives.

(NASB) Matthew 7:11 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”

Giving good gifts is good parenting ““ how much more will God the Father give good gifts to His children when they ask?!
