(NASB) Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

What blessing does anyone, who has a pure heart, receive from God? The blessing is”¦to see God Himself. To see God is conditional”¦you and I, anyone, must have a pure heart.

Who may stand in the very presence of the holy God? It is conditional: that person has to have clean hands and a pure heart. (See Psalm 24:3-4)

This is what God has put into place for anyone who will stand before Him in His holy presence”¦Not only clean hands and a pure heart but also not lifting up mind, emotions or will to worship idols or swear by what is false.

What promise does God give to those who are thus blessed by Him?

(NASB) Psalm 24:5 “He shall receive a blessing from the Lord

And righteousness from the God of his salvation.”

What promises! God”™s blessing! God”™s righteous! God”™s salvation!

Do you have the blessing of God? Do you have His righteousness? Have you received His salvation (through His Son, Jesus Christ)?

Do you know Him?

Have you thanked Him?

What must you and I do to receive God”™s blessing of His presence?

(NIV) Psalm 24:6 “Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.

Selah”

“Selah” ““ think about what has just been stated ““ Seek Him! Seek His face!

(NIV) 1 John 3:1 “HOW GREAT is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! …”

As a child of God, what can I request of Him with boldness?

(NASB) Psalm 51:10-12 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.”

What is your prayer request of the holy God?
