True witnesses are an integral part of any relationship and ministry. You can be a witness to this devotional, if it is meaningful and helpful to you in knowing Jesus Christ.

Sharing this website with family and friends would be one way to witness to God’s words. It is not the website itself that is important, or even what is said. What is important is God’s word and how He wants you and me to put it into practice where we live.

Your comments in the box provided would be read by anyone who comes to this website – you would be a witness.

(NASB) Ruth 4:11 “All the people who were in the court, and the elders, said,

“˜We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, both of whom built the house of Israel; and may you achieve wealth in Ephrathah and become famous in Bethlehem.'”

***Of what value are witnesses to the truth? Honesty and reliability are expected from what witnesses have experienced and have seen.

True witnesses ~ bless what they have witnessed of God at work.

True witnesses ~ bless with the Lord’s blessing.

The witnesses at Bethlehem’s town gate asked the Lord to bless the union of Boaz and Ruth. They were referring to Rachel and Leah, the two wives who were involved in providing children to form the twelve tribes of Israel.

(See Genesis 35:22b-26)

Think about this! Boaz and Ruth did become famous in Bethlehem through David, Israel’s greatest king, and through the greater King, Jesus Christ.

Bethlehem was the birthplace of David and the birthplace of Messiah, the Lord Jesus.

God was at work to bring all of prophecy concerning Messiah to fruition…amazing but true.

You and I can be true witnesses

when we point to God and His word.

What person will you point to God? How will you be a true witness of Jesus Christ in your life?

You and I can be true witnesses to God’s truth.

What is your prayer?
