Prophecy, many times, is for the immediate future and also the far distant future.

Jacob gave this prophecy about his fourth son, Judah.

Judah’s past was like ours, there were actions of sin and actions of heroics.  Judah became a trustworthy man of integrity.  His father acknowledged that in this prophecy.

The tribe of Judah is privileged above all the other tribes of Israel, for Messiah came through this tribe.

The Messiah’s history, is traced through the tribe of Judah and can be found in the genealogies of Jesus in Matthew 1:1-17 and
Luke 3:23-38.

~ Take it to heart ~

This prophecy of Messiah speaks of Jesus; He will be bowed down to by all people… He will be acknowledged as Lord.  He will be praised.  His power will be known.  He will receive His rightful place as Lord.  He will be worshiped.

(NASB) Philippians 2:8-11 “Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Have you received Him as your Savior?
Praise Him!
Worship Him!
