People are in refugee camps.  They have left or were forced out of their homes, their cities, and/or their countries by war or famine.  Many are without hope for their future.

The followers of Christ have a living hope – the living God, His name is Jesus.  He is the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ.

Our circumstances, emotions, thought processes, and/or physical difficulties, are understood by our God.  He does not always take us out of our difficulties.  However, He does promise to be with us in them.  He is greater than our situation.  He is All-powerful and (your name) is never to forget that.  “…just as God said…”

The following is a paraphrase of 2 Corinthians 6:16-18

Followers of Christ:
1- are the temple of the living God “…just as God said…”

2- God dwells, lives, within believers in Christ “…just as God said…”

3- God will be among His people, His family “…just as God said…”

4- God will be our God “…just as God said…”

5- We will be His people “…just as God said…”

6- Come out from the middle of a lifestyle which does not honor God “…just as God said…”

7- Be separate from what is not set apart to God “…just as God said…”

8- Do not touch or do not have close contact with anything that is unclean in God’s sight “…just as God said…”

9- God Himself will welcome all who receive Christ Jesus as their Savior “…just as God said…”

~ Take it to heart ~

 For all followers of Christ:

God’s promise to me –   He is my Father!

I am a son/daughter to Him

The Lord God Almighty said so!

“…just as God said…”
