As followers of Christ the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus is the basis for our faith/belief.

Think of it!
All people die.  This is a fact.
The Son of Man (the Lord Jesus) was fully Man and He died on a cross.

As He suffered on the cross – He became the perfect sacrifice which pleased God.  Because God accepted this holy and perfect sacrifice of His only begotten Son, He raised Jesus from the grave of death.

All followers of Christ have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus as Savior.  Because of Jesus’ resurrection, His physical resurrection, we also will be physically resurrected.

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 4:13-14 “It is written: ‘I believed; therefore I have spoken.’  With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, 14because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus… ”

Think of it!
Not only will all those committed to Him be raised to physical life after death; but we will also be presented to Him.  We will be ushered into His very presence.

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 4:14 “…we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and will present us with you.”     (underlining added)

~ Take it to heart ~

Committed believers believe in the physically risen Lord Jesus Christ.  He is the way, He is the truth, He is the life… forever and ever and ever.  This is the faith of true followers.
