What is going on in your circumstances today?  Are you seeing your circumstances from God’s perspective?

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;”

When you and I are under great pressure (afflictions) ~ we are not crushed because God’s power protects us.  He is our Protector.

When we are at a stand still; not knowing which way to turn (perplexed) ~ we are not to despair because God is with us.  He is Immanuel.

When we are demeaned, despised (persecuted) ~ we are to remember we are not forsaken by our God.  He is the living God.

When we are physically, mentally, emotionally harmed (struck down) ~ we are not destroyed because it is God’s power which gives us strength to endure.  He is Almighty God.
(Paraphrase of 2 Corinthians 4:8-9)

Remember: Jesus’ death was sacrificial and His resurrected life is shown, manifested in our bodies – in our lives as we respond to circumstances.
(Paraphrase of 2 Corinthians 4:10)

~ Take it to heart ~

Read the following slowly and prayerfully:
The Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ.  This same Gospel is the righteousness given or credited by God.  This righteousness is continuing to grow my faith leading to greater faith.

God’s word says that anyone who has faith is just, upright and will live by faith in Jesus Christ.
(Paraphrase of Romans 1:17)

Followers of Christ are to live by faith!  Our faith is in our God – never ourselves.

Jesus receives the credit, the honor and the glory in and through our lives.

God’s power IS at work in my life.
‘O Lord, help me never to forget!’
