The God of the Holy Bible knows what is around the curve in your circumstances…live by faith and not by what you see or understand.

Jesus endured hostility which led to His crucifixion outside the walls of Jerusalem.
When He suffered death on a cross, He suffered for sinners – you and me!

Jesus did not renege, back down or run away from the suffering and crucifixion.  He yielded to God His Father’s will for Him.  When Jesus prayed to His Father, He surrendered to His Father’s will: “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.”  (NASB – Matthew 26:42)

Have you ever yielded to God the Father by praying this very prayer?

For Jesus, God’s will involved suffering for sins He never committed – your sins and mine.  His suffering was excruciating.  Jesus accepted His Father’s will with complete understanding.  “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

When Jesus suffered and died it was not fair.  It was not pleasant.  In fact, all of it was cruelty to the extreme…yet, He endured!

(NASB) Hebrews 12:3 “For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

So what are you to do in your circumstances?  Whatever your circumstances are today, the living God knows what is around the curve for you…please, don’t give up, don’t grow weary and don’t lose heart…for Jesus endured so you can have eternal life.  He endured so your sins will not keep you out of God’s presence.  He took your sins as if they were His.  He paid the price for your sins…your very real sins.  “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.”  He did this for you.

There are Christians today, who are in prison for their faith.  There are Christians today who are in hard circumstances.  God knows what you are suffering and He knows how you are brokenhearted.

(NASB) Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.”

God heals hidden hurts and He binds up open wounds.

Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Hebrews 12:3 “For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

God knows your situation …. will you pray: “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

Live by faith in Him, the living God who knows what is around the next curve…live by faith in Him and not by what you see in your circumstances.
