What is so amazing about faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?  Other religions demand worshipers do many things…demanding worship.

Not so for the worshipers of the living God.  What pleases Him?  Believe that He is.  Believe He actually exists.  We have proof of His existence in what He created.  Look around you…He created it.

What pleases God?  Walk with Him, day by day…believe by faith that He is here.
(NASB) Romans 1:20-21 “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”

A man named Enoch walked by faith, many thousands of years ago.
(NIV) Genesis 5:21-22 “When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.  22And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.”

“Enoch walked with God” and he is remembered for living by faith in the living God. Will you be remembered as a person who walks with God day by day…pleasing Him?  Faith is a choice. Your choice to believe God and His existence affects your eternity.

Enoch’s faith was in God…he knew God existed.  He pleased God because he believed in the reality of God.  The living God exists – today – right this moment.  Seek Him!

Faith in God results in rewards to those who seek Him.  Are you seeking the living God, the God who really does exist?  Enoch was rewarded:
(NIV) Genesis 5:24 “Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.”

Enoch did not taste physical death; God took him into heaven.  There are a limited number of people who have experienced God taking them right into His presence.

Remember: Enoch pleased God.  Enoch believed God existed and his faith was daily lived out.  He walked with God.  After death followers of Christ will enter into God’s presence.  What a reward of faith!

(NIV) Hebrews 11:5-6 “By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away.  For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.  6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

It was by faith Enoch pleased God…

(NIV) Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
