Paul was in Ephesus where a riot occurred.  A town clerk diffused the situation and sent everyone home.

(NASB) Acts 20:1 “AFTER THE uproar had ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and when he had exhorted them and taken his leave of them, he left to go to Macedonia.”

Paul used wisdom, godly wisdom.  He sent for the followers of Christ and exhorted them before he left Ephesus.

Godly wisdom is to be used as we face circumstances that are disturbing.  Godly wisdom is to be used in our interactions throughout the day.

How does the Bible define godly wisdom?  (James 3:17)
Godly wisdom is from above (from God Himself).

It is first Pure

Then Gentle

Reasonable

Full of mercy

Full of good fruits

Unwavering

Without hypocrisy

How are you using Godly Wisdom in your present situation?
Is it pure?  Gentle?  Reasonable?  Full of mercy?  Full of good fruits?  Is it unwavering?  Is it without hypocrisy?

The living God has all of those resources ready to be used by you and me.  We choose how we respond to others, no matter how they treat us or react to us.  All followers of Christ have the Holy Spirit of God living in us!  It is His strength, His counsel, His help, His encouragement and His Godly wisdom we need for the daily challenges we face.
