For two years, Paul taught the people of Ephesus about the Lord Jesus Christ.  Then he revealed his plan to go to Jerusalem stopping along the way in Macedonia and Achaia (most of Greece).  Then he stated, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.” (Acts 19:21)

The next order of business for Paul was to send trusted and trustworthy men into Macedonia; Timothy and Erastus.  Paul stayed a while longer in Ephesus.
(Acts 19:22)

What plans do you have that come from the living God?
Are your plans prayerfully centered on God and His word?

What do you need to change so the Lord God will be first in your life, in your thinking and in your plans?  By going to Jesus – you can be in His will for you and His plans for you.

Jesus gave a promise to all who know Him as their Savior.
(NASB) Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
29 ‘Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 ‘For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

By going to Jesus – there is rest for your mind, your emotions and your will.  Jesus said so.

By going to Jesus – there is peace within. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”  (NASB John 14:27)

By going to Jesus – there is purpose for your life.
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.” (NASB Romans 8:28-30)

God’s plans and purposes for you are important.
God’s promise of His peace – is for you.

There is God’s rest
There is God’s purpose
There is God’s promise of His peace
