Moses was forty years old when he fled Egypt.  At that point in time he spent forty years as a shepherd in the wilderness.
Age is not factor with the Lord when He calls people to action to carry out His plans and purposes.
What excuse have you used to not be actively involved with God’s word being given out to those without Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord?

Moses assumed God’s timing to be the deliverer of the Israelites out of slavery while he was still a young man of forty.  Not so!  Moses spent forty more years as a shepherd in a foreign land, working for his father-in-law, before God called him to the ministry of leading stubborn, hard-headed Israelites out of slavery.
But the wonder of God’s presence throughout Moses’ leading the Israelites in the wilderness…what joy that must have given Moses.  Moses wrote Psalm 90…have you read it lately?

Moses came to know God…are you coming to know God for yourself or are you depending on another’s faith?

Tomorrow we will consider how the Lord God got Moses’ attention and what He said to Moses there, in the wilderness.

What of your circumstances today?  Do you think that you will never be used by God for His glory because of an infirmity, or age, or your circumstances?  Never think never…for God is greater than your infirmity, your age, or your circumstances…

Remember:

Your age, your circumstances, your infirmities

are   not   a   factor   to   God!
