(NASB) Acts 2:1-4 “WHEN THE day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.
2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them.
4 And they were filled with the Holy Spirit…”

Can you imagine the power of the Holy Spirit:
Acts 5:12
*working through the apostles?
*bringing believers in one accord to the portico (porch) of Solomon (in the temple)?

Can you imagine the power of the Holy Spirit:
Acts 5:13
*giving the apostles high esteem in the eyes of the people?
*even though the apostles were held in high esteem, many kept their distance so they would not be associated with the apostles?

Can you imagine the power of the Holy Spirit:
Acts 5:14
*the multitudes being added constantly to the growing early Christian church?

Can you imagine the power of the Holy Spirit:
Acts 5:15
*the sick being brought into the streets on cots and pallets so perhaps the shadow of Peter would fall on them?  (Notice, Scripture does not say those sick were healed)

Can you imagine the power of the Holy Spirit:
Acts 5:16
*the sick were brought from many cities near Jerusalem – sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits were all healed by the apostles?
