What does the Lord God bring to your mind that you will put into action today?
(NASB) 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 “For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.
11 Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.”

(NASB) Ephesians 4:29 “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.”

Are your words perverse or foolish?  Turn from such words and become a wise man/woman, that your lips would speak only words that are kind and gracious.
(NASB) Ecclesiastes 10:12 “Words from the mouth of a wise man are gracious, while the lips of a fool (those without God) consume him…”
(NASB) Proverbs 10:32 “The lips of the righteous know what is fitting, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.”

What person will you choose to encourage…today?
(NASB) Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.”

What one thing are you going to start doing…today…to be a true encourager to others and so give them comfort?  (No matter how you are feeling!)

If you would never see others again because of your death, by what last words would you be remembered?  What would be the legacy of your last words?

It is your choice to be an encourager and comfort others…or not.
