Peter was talking to men of Israel – they were descendants of the prophets (in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible).
These men were sons of the covenant which God had made with their forefathers.  God promised Abraham (the first Hebrew) “‘AND IN YOUR SEED ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.’”

Wonder of wonders!  YOUR SEED” is promising Messiah through the lineage of Abraham.

Wonder of wonders!  Jesus Christ is that “seed”!
All sins were taken on by the Lord Jesus as He hung on that cross that long ago day in the distant past.
God, the living God of the Bible, has provided salvation for every person!  However, however, it is only through faith in the name and person of Jesus Christ can anyone be saved!  Jesus said so!  God’s word declares it as a fact.

(NASB) John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

(NASB) John 3:3 “In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’”

Wonder of wonders!  My heritage is not Jewish, it is Gentile.  And yet, I am included in this ancient promise of God!
Wonder of wonders!  It is through faith in Jesus Christ anyone can be blessed with forgiveness, included in the family of God, receive life eternally in the presence of God!

(NASB) Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Ignoring such a Savior, rejecting such a glorious and grand salvation, is damning.  Each person is responsible for their belief system.  Either forgiven through faith in Christ’s death for their sins…or not.
God cannot look upon sin…for He is absolutely holy.  If you have your sins on you when you die…you will not be in God’s presence.  However, if you have received forgiveness for your sins through faith in the death of Christ…you will spend eternity in heaven!

Wonder of wonders!  Christ Jesus is alive, He is the Resurrected One and He is coming again!
Wonder of wonders!  are you blessed by faith in Jesus as your Savior?
