The Gospel is the Good News of the living Lord God of the Bible Who resurrected His Son from the grave.  Followers of Christ follow the living Lord Jesus as their Savior.

What does God’s word say about this?
(NASB) Romans 1:16-17 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

No one is excluded…not one person.  God’s Good News is for everyone who chooses to believe.
Some people ask but what about those who never hear this message from God?  God’s word says:
(NASB) Romans 1:18-20 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”

Look up at the sky, look down at the grass, look around at the trees, the flowers…what do you see?  God’s invisible attributes!  His eternal power and His divine nature can be clearly seen.  The grandeur of the mountains, the oceans stretching to the horizon.  The lilt of a bird singing to awaken the morning.  The softness of a cat, the faithful love of a dog.  All of creation, wherever you live, is clear evidence of God’s eternal power, His divine nature!

The Gospel of Jesus is Good News indeed – for you!  People who are without the internet, without access to world events – they have God’s creation to respond to Him.  He is just, He is fair, and He loves each person too much not to give each of us an opportunity to turn to Him, to know that He exists, that He is!

The Gospel: the Power of God
The righteous will live by faith in the living God ~ nothing else is needed.  Not works, not goodness, not puny power of people or wealth or idols.
