The resurrected Jesus approached two people as they walked toward Emmaus, talking with each other about what had happened in Jerusalem the last few days.

Jesus approaches you and me ~ where we are.  Jesus did not suddenly appear but joined those two people.

Jesus was not recognized by those two and we do not always recognize when Jesus is approaching us.  Do we see Him physically?  Probably not, but we need to be “listening” as we read the words of the God of the Bible.  Hearing what God has to say to you and to me is not always ‘comfortable;’ however, we should listen and accept what He has to say.

When we listen, really listen, God’s words will always agree with what God says throughout Scripture ~ in the Old Testament and the New Testament.

We can talk to the Lord about anything and everything.
(NASB) Philippians 4:6 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.”

Jesus approaches you ~ how will you now respond?
